Living Charcoal
Presenting you my "Living Charcoal" collection. I am bringing my original charcoal artworks to life. These drawings are mostly based on my lucid dreams. I transfer the visual experience of these dreams into an image through a unique combination of the analog charcoal medium and digital animation.

The Dress
My very first "Living Charcoal" piece. I brought my original charcoal artwork "The Dress" (120 x 175 cm) to life. The drawing is based on a recurring lucid dream that I was been having in 2021. I tried to replicate it as best I could by photographing my girlfriend in the same room with the same clothes and lighting.

Tide
My second "Living Charcoal" piece. I brought my original charcoal artwork "Tide" (60 x 50 cm) to life. The drawing is based on a photo I took in 2021. It is based on a lucid dream about abandonment.

Perpetual
My third "Living Charcoal" piece. I brought my original charcoal artwork "Perpetual" (100 x 70 cm) to life. It is based on a picture I took in a park last year in Halle, Belgium.
